- Same problem. If you access the ports through the high level interfaces
- (dos-handler PARx: or some 2nd.parallel.device) there is no problem. But
- things like sound samplers or parnet that do low level access to the CIA
- chips cannot work automatically with different hardware.

- Heh. Obviously. The system will happily use 30kHz modes. All system compliant
- programs will happily use 30kHz modes. In fact, this does work _today_ with
- the _current_ system, except for the boot menu and alerts.
