  21. Same problem. If you access the ports through the high level interfaces
  22. (dos-handler PARx: or some 2nd.parallel.device) there is no problem. But
  23. things like sound samplers or parnet that do low level access to the CIA
  24. chips cannot work automatically with different hardware.

  35. Heh. Obviously. The system will happily use 30kHz modes. All system compliant
  36. programs will happily use 30kHz modes. In fact, this does work _today_ with
  37. the _current_ system, except for the boot menu and alerts.
